“Bad Day”

          This day is a bad day for me because I am so irritated with my sister; she’s also studying in FEU and a tourism student. I am so disappointed and being a sister I feel so demon to her because she already know that my last class is 6:00pm and she texted me that she doesn’t have a money 7:30 pm and she says that she can’t go home because she doesn’t have a money to pay all the expenses to go home. I replied her that I’m already at Edsa station and it’s already so far from her. The only way for her to go home is to borrow money from her classmate but she replied that her classmates don’t have a money and she wanted me to go back in school but I’m so irritated because manila to taguig 2 hrs and 30 mins. I am already home and same time I am so stress because of so many project and quiz but she still want me to go back to pasay and I am now in taguig.I am so stress and irritated and so fool because of what she did and I texted her if you want to go home make a way and strategy use your coconut shell you are now 21 years old and I know you are already old to texted me and think that kind of attitude. I also texted her why you informed me 7:30pm even if you know that my last class is 6:00pm .But I don’t have a choice and just to think a best strategy that I can. I also texted her that don’t go just stay in our school and I will text my classmate that he will give you a money but she texted me that she is now at the Edsa station near pasay. I am so fool and irritated I want her already to say anything bad words but I can’t do it because I respect her and even if my father don’t say to us this kinds of words. The only thing that came in my mind is to go home and inform my brother that my sister doesn’t have money and she’s in the Edsa station. In all the problems that we’ve encounter GOD is their because she doesn’t give us a problem that a person cannot surpass.

Question in our Minds

As of two years using my facebook news feed I've always read status update of my friends about love life or having a relationship.It's so familiar for us teenagers, having a relationship has a big role in ourlives and most of the time having a trouble with it, why we are so overprotective in terms of love? pointless it seems.

Why we didn't focus on our studies? It's not a reason that you're now in a college level you can do everthing and anything under the sun but the fact is we are the one who are paying our education.It's not that you're in high school, natural for us teenagers are agressive in terms of love.But it doesn't stoped there, that you're agressive you can do anything what you want. All things has a limitation.

As a normal students we're keep on asking the curiculum of our school. Why does Mass Communication have math subject, Political Science have psychology,tourism have logic subject?. These are the questions that buthered in our minds admit it, or not.Why does our school give didn't give us a major subjects that we can't use in future? However, what is the essence of this. It's the way of our school to make money? A proved that FEU (Fastest Earner University) these are the questions that we didn't know what's the answer.

In short, Pencil Case a kind of things that important for students.It's a case where all pencils are placed.Case represents soul and body, it's the person who wrote and think the idea on what the story is all about.Each pencils inside the case is a representation of life and strong emotion of feelings of each person.It is also counted that how many pencil placed in this case will be the minds and judgement of each person and readers. In this time when we are studying and we are lost use of heart problem, family problem and worst course or problem in subjects, just always think positive don't underestimate yourself. Don't surrender in whatever dermands of life may come. Remember that GOD does not give any trial that one cannot surpass. If you can imagine it, you can do it.

Growing UP

"Advantages and Disadvantages of growing Up"

Parents always want to make the best decisions for their children. The most essential decision they have to make is the size of their family. Parents have to consider whether it is better for their children to grow up in a large family or to grow up in a small family. Still, I believe there is no best family size. A large family and a small family both have their own advantages and disadvantages in the aspects of family’s finance and child companionship. 

A family financial condition is tightly related to the size of the family. The living cost for a large is surely much higher than the living cost for a small family. As the result, children in a large family would have less financial supports from their parents.

In contrast, in a small family, parents can give more resources to their children. For instance, their children can receive better education, or have more opportunities to develop some costly interests, such as piano. My friend, Dave, is the only child in their family. Their parents always support him to do whatever the things he wishes to do, such as traveling aboard and developing his interest in music. On the other hand, I, growing up in a large family, do not have as many chances to do things I want as Dave do. From this example, I believe children in a small family can receive more supports from their parents than children in a large family can receive. 

Although children in the large family might not receive much supports from their parents, they have more companies to talk to and to play with. That is definitely a great advantage for children in a large family. They will not feel lonely at home because their brothers or sister are always their best companies throughout their lives. On the other hand, if a family only has a single child, the child would often feel lonely, and feel eager to have a brother or a sister. Luck enough, I have a brother and a sister, and I never feel lonely at home. They are always the best friend to talk to and to share my feeling with. Children would definite benefit a lot from having more companies at home, and it is an advantage a small family doe not have.

After all, there is not really an answer for the best family size because both large and small family have their own advantages and disadvantages. Children in a small family can receive more supports than children in a large family. However, children in a large family can have more companies at home than children in a small family can have. Because the size of a family could affect children greatly, the parents should think carefully before they decide how many children they are going to have. 

Environment

"Help our Environment"


I grew up in a environment where pollution, disease, and other problems are a big issue. Cars and factories release greenhouse gasses into the air, and forests are being cut down. In other countries, many people are behind on cures for diseases. Many people talk about how the polar ice caps are melting and the ozone layer depleting. An Inconvenient Truth opened my eyes to see how today's technology and garbage affect these environmental disasters, and I want to do something about it. 
I do some things to make myself more environmentally friendly. I walk to school instead of driving because I live about two blocks away. I also take the bus when I go downtown or my friend's house. When I need to get somewhere and many people are going, I carpool with some friends. I recycle any cardboard boxes and milk cartons, and I reuse water bottles and fill them with filtered tap water instead of buying more water. I take short showers and I don't leave the facet on when I am brushing my teeth.
At school, I am constantly learning about the environment and how we are affecting it. I noticed recycle and compost bins in the cafeteria and an old Asian woman picking up cans and bottles in the gym. In the A.P. Environmental Science class, I see how other third world countries are less fortunate than us and how we just dump our trash in their countries. We need to find a way to use less resources and produce less trash so other countries can improve their standard of living. 
During the summer of 2008, I was a intern at North East Medical Services (NEMS), which is a clinic near Chinatown. I worked as a lab technical assistant and they had strict safety regulations. I always had to wash my hands and wear latex gloves because I was transporting blood samples. My mentor told me that a clean work place reduces the chance of people spreading any diseases. He also told me that many people are ill because their houses or work places are unsanitary. 
A clean environment is good for everyone, but we are far from one. If we continue what we are doing, most of our natural resources would be gone and our future generations would have nothing to survive on. We should focus more on renewable energy sources like the wind, sun, and maybe even rain instead of wasting all of our fossil fuels. We also need to do more with our trash instead of burning or burying it. I hope that if apply my studies to environmental problems and coming up with a solution to them, I can help make a better future for everyone.

Idea

"Top Idea"

I realized recently that what one thinks about in the shower in the morning is more important than I'd thought. I knew it was a good time to have ideas. Now I'd go further: now I'd say it's hard to do a really good job on anything you don't think about in the shower.

Everyone who's worked on difficult problems is probably familiar with the phenomenon of working hard to figure something out, failing, and then suddenly seeing the answer a bit later while doing something else. There's a kind of thinking you do without trying to. I'm increasingly convinced this type of thinking is not merely helpful in solving hard problems, but necessary. The tricky part is, you can only control it indirectly.

I think most people have one top idea in their mind at any given time. That's the idea their thoughts will drift toward when they're allowed to drift freely. And this idea will thus tend to get all the benefit of that type of thinking, while others are starved of it. Which means it's a disaster to let the wrong idea become the top one in your mind.

What made this clear to me was having an idea I didn't want as the top one in my mind for two long stretches.

I'd noticed startups got way less done when they started raising money, but it was not till we ourselves raised money that I understood why. The problem is not the actual time it takes to meet with investors. The problem is that once you start raising money, raising money becomes the top idea in your mind. That becomes what you think about when you take a shower in the morning.And that means other questions aren't.

I'd hated raising money when I was running Viaweb, but I'd forgotten why I hated it so much. When we raised money for Y Combinator, I remembered. Money matters are particularly likely to become the top idea in your mind. The reason is that they have to be. It's hard to get money. It's not the sort of thing that happens by default. It's not going to happen unless you let it become the thing you think about in the shower. And then you'll make little progress on anything else you'd rather be working on. 

(I hear similar complaints from friends who are professors. Professors nowadays seem to have become professional fundraisers who do a little research on the side. It may be time to fix that.)

The reason this struck me so forcibly is that for most of the preceding 10 years I'd been able to think about what I wanted. So the contrast when I couldn't was sharp. But I don't think this problem is unique to me, because just about every startup I've seen grinds to a halt when they start raising money—or talking to acquirers.

The word "excellence" has been around in the world of customer care for as long as I can remember. Together with the words "customer" and "service" the phrase conjures up a picture of a fired up organization serving its customers in a truly excellent way. I guess you could say this is my personal definition.

More recently governments and the public sector (particularly in the United Kingdom) have latched onto the term and are using it to define a specific program to raise customer service standards.

In their own words, the UK Government wants the public sector to provide customer support in an efficient, excellent, equitable and empowering manner.

Ultimately, they say their aim is to put the country's citizens at the heart of every public service organization.

Excellent customer service is essential in today's competitive economy. Businesses that want to compete, survive and prosper must return to the priority of excellent customer service

Service Excellence Defined (and Illustrated)

Service excellence can be hard to define — it often falls into the “know it when I see it” category of vague, but important distinctions.  Part of the challenge is the subjectivity of a word like excellence. Not all customers value service attributes in the same way. The intimacy you enjoy with a waiter who asks about your children and remembers how you like your burger may feel intrusive and jarring to me (hypothetically, of course).

I’d like to ground the definition of service excellence in the idea of reliability.  Service excellence is the consistent delivery of a high value/price experience, day after day, year after year, regardless of who happens to be on the front lines of the delivery process. It is the systematic output of a service model that is designed explicitly to produce it.  It is not the typical way we consume good service today, which is when entrepreneurial employees take it upon themselves to meet our needs in spite of the system.

In the spirit of know-it-when-I-see-it, I’m starting a highly subjective, incomplete list of service organizations that have reliably offered me (or people I know) excellent service.  I hope this brings the concept to life a bit. I also hope to learn from you. I would love to hear about other organizations you’d add to this list.
